Angel Face Cocktail

This classic cocktail was created by Harry Craddock and first published in 1930 in the Savoy Cocktail Book. It is a spirituous combination of London dry gin, apricot and apple brandies.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz London dry gin
  • 1 oz Calvados apple brandy
  • 1 oz apricot brandy
  • Garnish: apple fan or orange twist

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass until well-chilled and diluted - about 20 seconds.

  2. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora or coupe glass.

  3. Garnish with orange twist or apple fan.
