Cotton Candy Cocktail

This is an exciting Sparkling Twist on the classic Champagne Cocktail that uses a cloud of pink cotton candy as the sweetener. A great cocktail recipe from the LCBO Spring Trends and perfect for Mother's Day.

Ingredients

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters optional
  • A large piece cotton candy pink
  • Lemon zest for garnish
  • 5 oz Sandbanks Sparking Rose chilled

Instructions

  1. Add bitters into a coupe or Champagne glass.
  2. Skewer cotton candy and lemon zest.
  3. Rest over glass.
  4. Serve by pouring in bubbly. Note: Cotton candy will dissolve as soon as the bubbly touches it.

  5. Stir with a small spoon.
