Almond Biscotti Martini

A classic espresso martini gets an Italian twist with the addition of Disaronno Velvet.

Ingredients

  • oz vodka
  • ¾ oz Disaronno Velvet
  • ¼ oz Tia Maria Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur
  • oz espresso/cold brew concentrate
  • ¼ oz nutmeg syrup
  • Garnish: 3 coffee beans

Nutmeg Syrup

  • 1 cup demerara sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 whole nutmeg quartered

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with three coffee beans.

Nutmeg Syrup

  1. Combine sugar, water, and nutmeg in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, let sit at room temperature overnight for a more intense flavour.
  2. Store syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
