Let’s Get Blitzen: Cocktail Advent Calendar – Day 18 – Naughty Noel. Given your enthusiasm for previous pear cocktails I’ve shaken up, I have a feeling this combination of rye, amaro, pear juice, and gingerbread syrup is going to get me on the “Nice List” this year.
One benefit of spending all our spare time and disposable income on renovating our house over the past 2+ years is that now we can stage some wider scenes in the photography and videography for the Let’s Get Blitzen: Cocktail Advent Calendar. It also means that we have our tree up and decorated by mid-October.
I’m sure our neighbours think we are Christmas freaks that just can’t get enough of the holiday spirit. Or maybe all the camera gear and lighting equipment in the living room is an indicator that we are PRODUCING something, but maybe they think that’s just a byproduct of our shameless narcissism. Hard to say.
Michael has been quoted as saying, “I love Christmas music,” with a certain childlike wonder that is sure to warm the heart of even the Grinchiest of Grinches or Scroogiest of Scrooge’s. All that to say, I don’t think he’s upset at how early we have to decorate – he may be less keen on the constant state of clutter in the living room though.
I am delighted to say that I’ve finished shooting all of the virtual happy hour episodes and restored the living room to its former glory. Apologies if I’ve broken the fourth wall by telling you that I don’t, in fact, record all the episodes on the day of posting. You gotta batch that kind of content to optimize efficiency.
