Tickled Pink Cocktail

Valentine's (or Galentine's) Day calls for a cocktail. Make yours a blush-coloured libation like this Tickled Pink cocktail that adds the flavour of blood orange to the traditional Pisco Sour.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz pisco
  • 1 oz blood orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz blood orange syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 dashes Mr. Bitters Fig & Cinnamon Bitters
  • 1 candied blood orange, for garnish

Blood Orange Syrup

  • ½ cup blood orange juice
  • ½ cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a slice of candied blood orange. 

Blood Orange Syrup

  1. Combine blood orange juice and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir to dissolve sugar and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before using.
