Cilantro Mojito

The classic tropical refresher gets an update with cilantro in place of mint.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro with stems, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves
  • 2 tsp white sugar
  • oz white rum
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • Ice
  • Soda water as needed

Instructions

  1. Muddle cilantro, mint and sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon until herbs are bruised. The herbs should release their juices and the sugar will dissolve.
  2. In a tall glass, mix herb mixture with rum and lime juice. Fill with ice and top with soda water. Garnish with more cilantro
