Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • ¼ cup Grand Marnier
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Serve warm with orange peel or slices for garnish.
